Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Dayton Children's Hospital. As an EMT-Ambulance Driver, you will be responsible for providing patient transportation, delivering basic patient care, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from the hospital, ensuring timely and safe arrival
  • Provide basic patient care, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
  • Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • State of Ohio Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification (preferred)
  • EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Certification) (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
