  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

  • State of Ohio Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • PALS certification (preferred within four weeks of hire)
  • EVOC Emergency Vehicle Operations Certification (preferred within two weeks of hire)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working night shifts, 7p-7a. The EMT - Patient Transport Specialist will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, navigating through heavy traffic and inclement weather conditions. The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations is essential.
