Interventional Radiology Technologist Level I

Job Summary:
Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist Level I to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and administration of various imaging procedures, including exercise and pharmacological stress tests.
- Insert IV lines, place ECG electrodes, and interpret ECG results as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Certification in Basic Life Support upon start; American Registered Radiologic Technologists registry eligibility.
- Licensure as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia (if applicable).
- None required, but vocational/technical education in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred.
