Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities- Administer patient care practices according to department and hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure patient safety by maintaining magnetic safety protocols and guidelines.
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Communicate effectively with patients and physicians to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
- Assist physicians in performing examinations using standard department protocols and sterile technique.
- Certification as an MRI Technologist or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable).
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or MRI certification from ARMRIT or CAMRT.
