Employment Type: Full-Time
WORK SCHEDULE: Primarily day shifts from Monday to Friday. Availability for evening and weekend meetings and events is required, along with 24/7 availability for emergencies and oversight of agency programs.
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Director of Administrative Services is responsible for managing all operational functions, personnel, and programs within Axess Family Services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the design, implementation, and operation of Administrative Departments, including Facilities Management, Maintenance, and Information Technology.
- Establish both short-term and long-term organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency across various departments.
- Formulate business strategies and plans.
- Adopt best practices to streamline organizational processes.
- Delegate tasks and oversee the performance of leadership staff, providing guidance and motivation to achieve optimal results.
- Monitor the financial health of the agency, including investments and other business initiatives.
- Assess challenging situations and propose solutions to facilitate agency growth.
- Represent the agency in public speaking engagements and public relations activities as directed by the Executive Director.
- Foster and maintain trusting relationships with community stakeholders, business partners, and elected officials.
- Recognize and reward performance, address potential issues, and collaborate with leadership staff and the Executive Director to resolve challenges.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, COA regulations, and federal and state requirements, as well as educational and certification standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead a diverse team of non-profit professionals.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership or managerial role.
- Ability to identify, recruit, train, and mentor leadership personnel.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving insurability requirements.
- Must pass a criminal background check as required by agency standards.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of ten years of demonstrated experience in a senior management position.
