Job Summary:

The Office Manager - Purchasing Agent will play a dual role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office operations and managing the procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration and purchasing, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, administrative tasks, and general office upkeep.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all office-related issues and vendor management.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment required for construction projects.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with various departments to identify purchasing needs.
  • Maintain and update purchase records, supplier information, and contracts.
  • Analyze and assess vendor performance to ensure the best pricing and service for all construction-related purchases.
  • Support the finance team with budgeting and expenditure tracking.
  • Assist in planning and executing office events, meetings, and other administrative projects.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in office management and/or purchasing roles, ideally in the construction or related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks, and experience with procurement software or systems.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
