Your Role as an HRIS Implementation Manager:
Are you ready to make a significant impact within a Fortune 500 organization? If you possess a passion for enhancing processes and driving Human Resources initiatives, this role may be an excellent fit for you. As the HRIS Implementation Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Business Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the planning and execution of HRIS implementations within our Human Resources Department. Your role will involve partnering with both internal and external teams, utilizing industry-standard tools and best practices to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accountability across core and extended teams in collaboration with the Business Project Manager.
- Coordinate project-related activities and establish effective communication plans.
- Facilitate weekly project status meetings and manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
- Document and track project risks, actions, and issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and manage project plans, synthesizing stakeholder inputs and holding teams accountable.
- Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct project closeout steps, identifying lessons learned and applying continuous improvement methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of proven project management experience in software development or IT, preferably within the insurance sector.
- CAPM or PMP certification is advantageous.
- Experience with project management tools such as SmartSheet.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and HRIS software development is preferred.
