About the Role

The University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) is seeking a seasoned Informatics Training Supervisor to lead its Clinical Informatics team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to support the growth and development of healthcare professionals across the organization.

This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and technical skills to drive exceptional outcomes. You will work closely with subject matter experts to develop and maintain training content, provide advanced troubleshooting support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Clinical Informatics staff
* Supervise and evaluate the performance of a team of trainers and support specialists
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and maintain training content
* Provide advanced troubleshooting support to resolve escalated issues
* Conduct regular training needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skill
