Job OverviewAs a Land Survey Intern at Sigma Consulting Group, Inc., you will provide support to senior managers in the survey departments. Your responsibilities will include assisting experienced survey field staff with topographic and boundary surveys, route surveys, stream surveys, and construction stakeouts. You will also gain exposure to progressive technology, including robotic total stations, GPS, UAS (drone), and LiDAR scanning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist survey field staff with data collection, boundary evidence search, and working in various terrain and outdoor conditions.
* Learn to utilize surveying software applications to gather, retrieve, and interpret important data.
* Perform physical tasks such as setting stakes and monuments, clearing brush, and hiking.

Requirements:

* Enrolled in an Associates or Bachelors in Survey program, or related field of study preferred.
* Prior internship experience in Land Survey or related field is a plus.
* Possession of sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various field conditions.
* Ability to lift 50 pounds.
* Occasional travel may be required.
* Valid Driver's License.
