Key Responsibilities
- Conducts research, design, development, and testing of a wide range of electronic systems and devices, including radar and radiation detection tools, communication systems, and various circuitry components.
- Creates and evaluates electronic systems, components, or circuits intended for integration into machinery or equipment.
- Assesses existing operational systems and suggests design enhancements to rectify malfunctions or adapt to changing system requirements.
- Explores new applications of conductive materials in component design and their integration into products or systems.
- Utilizes computer-aided engineering and design software to execute tasks effectively.
- Designs testing apparatus and establishes protocols for product testing.
- Handles technician responsibilities related to the setup, configuration, and upkeep of electronic devices.
- Performs analysis on electronic circuits and carries out necessary repairs.
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with the capability to upgrade to TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
- A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least one year of experience in soldering, demonstrating current proficiency.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in designing, constructing, or repairing basic electronic circuits involving components such as transistors and operational amplifiers.
- At least 1 year of experience in installing and configuring common IP equipment found in smart homes, including IP cameras and security systems.
- Prior experience in installing and testing network cables, patch panels, and racks.
- Proficient in using laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
- Strong skills in listening, questioning, and technical troubleshooting.

Compensation
The typical salary range for this position is $80,000 - $128,000, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
