Electrical Technician

At A/Z Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our team. As an Electrical Journeyman, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems and associated processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of electrical systems and associated processes.
- Prepare sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment, or follow blueprints to ensure concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using various tools.
- Oversee or participate in wire installation with conduit and cable trays.
- Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts.
- Connect power cables to equipment, such as motors, and install grounding leads.
- Test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments.
- Observe the functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Perform other routine duties as directed by the workplace leader, electrical panels, and standby generation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- 3 years of field experience, trade school, or apprenticeship.
- Appropriate State journeyman license.
- OSHA 10 certification.
