We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients who are considered a danger, fall risk, or safety concern to themselves.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor up to fifteen patients on one screen at all times while on duty.
- Communicate with hospital staff and respond quickly to patient behavioral changes.
- Document patients' behavior throughout the entire scheduled shift.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with obtaining vital signs, blood glucose, phlebotomy, EKG, and assisting with activities of daily living.
- Certification preferred (patient care technician, nurse assistant, medical assistant).
- Behavioral health sciences interest or related areas preferred.
