Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Resources Specialist. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the public, processing public and in-house requests for information, and performing various administrative and clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process public and in-house requests for information, including utility billing accounts and property tax assistance.
  • Perform various administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, record-keeping, and preparing reports.
  • Operate credit card machines, registers, and computer equipment, as well as perform related routine clerical work.
  • Assist with special projects, training responsibilities, and other similar tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree preferred, with a minimum of 18 months experience in a customer service, cash handling, or call center operation role.
  • Knowledge of modern office procedures and practices, general cash handling practices, and City ordinances, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain accounting and clerical records, prepare reports, and work independently and as a team.
Working Conditions

This role is typically performed in an office setting, with the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work. The employee may be required to work on various shifts and overtime.
