Veterinary Care Specialist

Mann Memorial Veterinary Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will provide exceptional care to our patients and their owners, while also contributing to the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including restraint, x-ray, lab, and blood work, as well as administering and filling medications.
- Assist veterinarians in medical, surgical, and dental procedures, including blood draws, preparing patients for surgery, administering anesthesia, and monitoring patients during surgery and recovery.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy, including physical assessments and observations.
- Prepare estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients, as well as explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions.
- Stock clinic treatment areas and exam rooms, and inform the inventory manager when supplies need to be ordered.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT) preferred but not required.
- Prior leadership or management experience required.
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
- Diagnostics (Radiographs, ECG, Blood Pressure, Venipuncture) and placing IV catheters.
- Administering treatments and assisting and monitoring patients during surgery.
- Providing emergency and critical care to patients.
