We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct behavioral health patient care, including assisting patients with daily living activities and providing therapeutic interventions.
- Observe and record patient behavior and activities, reporting any changes in condition and suggesting modifications to the treatment plan.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
- Certification in Crisis Prevention from the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) preferred.
- Nurse Aide certification from the Illinois Department of Public Health preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
