Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at P2S. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading electrical design projects and teams, managing multiple large-size projects, and providing mentorship to design engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical design projects and teams, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Manage multiple large-size projects, coordinating with other senior engineers and subconsultants.
  • Provide mentorship to design engineers, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Prepare proposals independently for clients, demonstrating active development of business with new and existing clients.
  • Review and respond to RFI's, review equipment submittals, and perform punch walks and prepare punch list reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer License required.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical design and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including California Electrical Code and Energy Standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
