Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Installation Specialist to join our team at TEL Staffing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing aircraft structure parts and system components, ensuring quality and efficiency in all installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Assembly: Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components, including control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear, and doors.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Remove and replace system components, cut and fit system lines and associated hardware, and perform necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity.
  • Quality Control: Responsible for quality and efficiency of all installations, ensuring all parts and assemblies meet requirements.
  • System Installation: Install systems lines, valves, ducts, and associated parts and hardware, ensuring a leak-free system.
  • Tool Operation: Use a variety of tools and equipment, including permaswage pumps, dies, line cutting tools, wrenches, checking tools, witness gauges, and other specialized tools.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years of aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams, use all tools required to do the job, and perform close tolerance work.
