Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Installation Specialist to join our team at TEL Staffing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing aircraft structure parts and system components, ensuring quality and efficiency in all installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components, including control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear, and doors.
  • Remove and replace system components, cut and fit system lines and associated hardware to facilitate repairs.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure all installations meet requirements and perform necessary rework to ensure conformity.
  • Install systems lines, valves, ducts, and associated parts and hardware, ensuring a leak-free system.
  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including permaswage pumps, dies, line cutting tools, wrenches, and checking tools.
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and structural problems to facilitate basic repairs.
  • Update and sign required logs and records as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supporting the company's FOD and 5S programs and complying with all safety regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years of aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience.
  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
  • Candidates with prior experience in Avionics will be highly considered for this role.
  • Prior experience within the Aviation industry is highly preferred.
  • The hiring manager is willing to look at strong candidates within the Automotive industry.
Additional Functions
  • In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.
