A2e Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Senior FPGA Design Engineer to join our team in Redmond. As an expert in FPGA and Modem Design, you will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge technologies for satellite communications.

Job Summary

We are offering a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a long-term contract position with possible permanency, expected to last 6-24 months.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in FPGA/Modem Design, with expertise in Ultrascale+ & Versal, VHDL & SystemVerilog, and High-speed Serdes. You should also possess strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Perl, Bash, Tcl, etc., as well as solid communication interfaces such as Ethernet, Interlocken, PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and simulate complex digital circuits using VHDL and SystemVerilog
  • Develop high-speed Serdes interfaces for satellite communication systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems
  • Implement encryption techniques to secure satellite communication data
Requirements
  • 10+ Years experience in FPGA/Modem Design
  • Ultrascale+ & Versal design expertise
  • VHDL & SystemVerilog proficiency
  • High-speed Serdes interface development
  • Solid scripting skills in multiple languages
  • Strong communication interfaces knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Government Clearance
  • Software Defined Radio/Modem Design background
  • Petalinux development experience
  • Background in RF design
