Network Architect Lead

As a leading innovator in the field of space technology, SpaceX is seeking an exceptional Network Architect Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing a low latency, high capacity broadband network that enables human life on Mars.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with 10+ years of experience in modern networking protocols, their application and traffic types: TCP/IPv4/IPv6, gaming, voice, video, broadcast, on-demand streaming, etc. You should have a strong background in C++ or similar Object-Oriented language and extensive knowledge of network topologies, routing algorithms, modeling, simulation, router design, queueing, resource arbitration, and packet prioritization, security including the effects on latency and bandwidth through the network.
The estimated salary for this position is $250,000 per year, based on industry standards and the company's location in the United States. This figure may vary depending on individual qualifications and performance.
In addition to your technical expertise, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to lead a high-performance team of 15+ people and deliver stellar results.
