Job Summary

The Lynn Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified Special Education Teacher - English Language Arts to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students with special needs in a general education setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide instruction and support to students in a general education setting
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement inclusive lesson plans
  • Assess and document student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Massachusetts teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
