We are seeking an experienced Media Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Myrtle Beach. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new local direct relationships, selling sponsorships, and calling on established agencies and accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
- Establish credible relationships with local business community.
- Maintain assigned accounts and develop new accounts.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients.
- Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media.
- Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placing advertising into station media.
- Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions to achieve them.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment.
- Working knowledge of Wide Orbit Media Sales and Traffic Systems, Matrix for Media, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
