Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Ole Mexican Foods, INC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in your assigned territory, building strong relationships with customers and independent operators, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with independent operators, store managers, and key customer decision makers to drive sales growth and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and execute tailored sales plans to influence growth opportunities and ensure sales budgets are achieved.
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities, and manage prospects to secure incremental space and displays.
  • Review and address Out-of-Stock (OOS) reports to minimize credits and ensure product rotation.
  • Communicate regularly with the Division Sales Manager on sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
  • Ensure all company procedures are followed, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1+ years' experience in DSD/Retail or field-based sales role.
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR record.
  • Ability to carry 20 to 40 pounds.
  • Availability to run a route in the event of a planned or unplanned disruption.
  • Ability to maintain a clean vehicle and/or truck.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of basic computer functions.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and display a professional demeanor representing clients.
  • Experience using personal access to functional tools such as smartphones or tablets.
  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish) preferred.
