Project Manager Overview

The role of a Project Manager is pivotal in overseeing and directing various projects within our organization.

With our headquarters located in California's Sacramento Valley, we are strategically positioned within one of the largest levee systems in the United States. Our extensive regional operations allow us to manage significant infrastructure projects effectively. We pride ourselves on our partnerships with both public and private sector clients, tackling a variety of complex projects including Environmental Remediation, Geotechnical, Heavy Civil, and Habitat & Wetland Construction, as well as Emergency & Disaster Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients to evaluate project scope and necessary resources.
  • Develop comprehensive estimates for projects, ensuring thorough review of specifications, drawings, and contracting details.
  • Oversee the entire construction process to guarantee adherence to design, budget, and timeline, while liaising with client representatives and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage onsite operations, including scheduling, engineering, and material control, while providing guidance to administrative staff.
  • Offer technical support, including interpretation of plans and recommendations for construction methods and equipment.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by management.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should possess a four-year degree in engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience. A minimum of eight years in construction management, estimating, or supervisory roles is required. Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction processes, including technology, equipment, methods, and safety protocols. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
