The Price Center is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Specialized Supports program. These positions are centered around fostering skill enhancement and experiential learning through community involvement. Key responsibilities include delivering direct care and support to program participants.

The Community Support Advocate will engage with individuals on a variety of skill-building initiatives and group activities, including social skills development, communication enhancement, academic support, vocational training, community participation, and daily living assistance. Implement effective techniques to instruct social and communication abilities.

Requirements:

  • No previous experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided
  • High school diploma or GED is required; candidates must be at least 21 years old
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability to assist in lifting program participants with the help of another staff member
  • Essential: valid driver's license, clean driving record, and readiness to operate agency vehicles
  • Successful completion of Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check
