Ashe Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to enhance our Imaging department.
The MRI Imaging Specialist will be tasked with conducting MRI examinations at an advanced technical level, prioritizing both quality and efficiency in our imaging services.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI scans utilizing independent judgment
- Oversee the quality of MRI imaging and manage workflow effectively
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduation from an AMA accredited radiologic technology program
- A minimum of six months of hands-on clinical MRI scanning experience
- Certification in a relevant clinical field with MRI experience
- ARRT certification and CPR certification are mandatory
Core Duties:
- Accurately position patients and administer necessary contrast agents
- Capture high-resolution images while clearly explaining procedures to patients
- Facilitate patient flow and maintain accurate documentation
- Conduct Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to comply with vaccination requirements
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening
