Job Summary:
The Architectural Sales Professional will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with key industry contacts to increase sales of Precision Walls' specialty products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities and secure product specifications with architects, designers, specifiers, and end-users.
- Develop and maintain superior relationships with key industry contacts to develop or increase preference and demand for select product groups.
- Identify relevant projects, key players, and decision-makers to increase the frequency of select product groups being included in specifications.
- Provide on-going technical expertise and education to architects, designers, specifiers, and end-users through regular calls and participation in key networking events.
- Develop sales strategies and techniques based on customer comments and market conditions.
- Maintain an appropriate level of sales activity by conducting a number of appointments per week.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
- Travel throughout the assigned region to meet with regular and prospective customers.
- Accurately report closed/won opportunities dollar values to track revenue goals.
- Provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism by generating and managing specifications from product selection through product delivery and job completion.
- Participate in key industry organizations, trade shows, and marketing events.
- Analyze market trends and work with senior leadership to maintain product groupings that align with client needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience in architectural sales in either Division 9, 10, or 12 products.
- Familiarity with architectural and design processes.
- Proven track record in securing specifications for products represented.
- Ability to build new and maintain existing client relationships that will drive sales of the specialty product group.
- Possess excellent written and verbal skills.
- Be capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
