We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Manager to join our team at Workforce Solutions - Virens Global Inc.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Department Manager will be responsible for managing the radiology program, assessing and monitoring staff training and competency, developing and monitoring quality improvement activities, and coordinating with other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the radiology program, including developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Assess and monitor staff training and competency, ensuring that all staff are qualified and competent to perform radiologic exams.
  • Develop and monitor quality improvement activities, including tracking and reporting on radiology studies and ensuring that all radiology equipment is properly maintained and inspected.
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed, including finance and clinic administrators.
  • Make recommendations on capital purchases and ensure that all radiology equipment is properly maintained and inspected.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
  • 5+ years of experience in radiology management and supervision.
  • 5+ years of experience as a radiology technologist.
  • PACS training.
  • CT technologist experience preferred.
  • MRI technologist experience preferred.
  • Able to write radiology manuals and document medical information in an organized manner.
