Key Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify minute differences in material specifications.
- Strong background in customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Proficient in multitasking and managing time effectively to meet various demands.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with experience in warehouse inventory systems. Familiarity with SAP is highly advantageous.
- Experience in inventory management and control processes.
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to MRO materials and machinery components.
Responsibilities:
- Process requests for MRO/Indirect materials within the customer supply area.
- Act as the primary contact for customers needing material assistance.
- Source and procure requested materials efficiently.
- Facilitate communication between maintenance, engineering teams, and vendors.
- Conduct thorough searches within the internal system to locate materials using various identifiers.
- Perform regular cycle counts of MRO/Indirect material inventories.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory records.
- Manage inventory adjustments, transfers, and receive incoming shipments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, promoting safety and efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
