Job Summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Program Support Specialist 3 to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support program efforts for the WIDS and respond to events within facilities.
  • Routinely patrol assigned building(s) with handheld tools and complete written reports.
  • Interact with customers and collaborate with Program Management and engineering personnel.
  • Prepare, track, and maintain reports and metrics for program support.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Complete and track program deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various program stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience, Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated basic operational proficiency with common computer operating systems and programs.
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking and wireless communication systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to support various locations and schedule.
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals.
Desired Qualifications
  • Direction-finding (DF) or geo-locating wireless signals.
  • Report writing and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of RF principles and theory.
  • Work in the physical or information security field.
Physical Demands
  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms.
  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
