Job Title: Marketo Email Designer

Smartdept. Inc. is seeking a skilled Marketo Email Designer to join our team. As a Marketo Email Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality email communications that engage and convert our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with marketing teams to deliver email campaigns that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement email templates using HTML and CSS, ensuring responsive and mobile-friendly designs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing automation team to understand email requirements and best practices.
  • Implement advanced coding practices, including media queries and conditional formatting.
  • Build landing pages from layered PSD and Figma files.
  • Conduct QA process for emails, ensuring proper rendering, consistency, and spam scoring across various email clients and operating systems.
  • Update and maintain email templates while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Implement A/B testing to optimize email performance and engagement.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with ESP service representatives and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum B.S. degree preferred.
  • 2-3+ years of Marketo experience, with email platform experience using tools like Litmus or Knak.
  • Advanced Frontend HTML and CSS experience coding emails.
  • Experience using Dreamweaver or similar code editing programs.
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma, to take designs from Photoshop and build into responsive email.
  • Basic image editing skills to crop, optimize, and modify assets for email and web.
  • Experience building emails and landing pages.
  • Ability to communicate ideas simply, succinctly, and accurately to technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, familiar with Medical Device Regulations – CFR and ISO requirements.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation Systems Veeva Content Approval processes.
