Job Title: Director of Manufacturing

At Genesis Aspire Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Manufacturing to lead our manufacturing and production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring efficient production processes, and delivering high-quality products to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing and production operations, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, engineers, and other staff to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality control standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols to maintain a high level of product quality and minimize risks.
  • Production Scheduling: Oversee production scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity planning to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demands.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency and productivity, and make data-driven decisions to improve processes.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve product quality, and reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives to meet financial objectives and ensure the financial sustainability of the organization.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective material sourcing.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide leadership in problem-solving and decision-making for production challenges, and evaluate and implement new technologies and automation to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Employee Development: Ensure a strong focus on employee safety, training, and development to maintain a high-performing workforce and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (8-10 years) in manufacturing and production management, with a focus on operational leadership.
  • Skills: Demonstrated track record of successfully driving operational improvement initiatives and achieving production targets, in-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and best practices, and strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to build and lead high-performing teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial management, and ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
