Associate Corporate Counsel

Anderson Roberts is seeking a highly skilled Associate Corporate Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality legal services to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and implement operations systems that comply with healthcare, commercial, and all applicable laws.
  • Assist with regulatory and licensing matters, as well as litigation.
  • Develop and maintain ethics and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Implement litigation strategies and manage associated processes.
  • Oversee audit processes in coordination with Compliance and Operations departments.
  • Stay up-to-date on Federal and State legislative activity affecting our company and industry.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to executive teams.
  • Deliver responsive, fast-paced, solutions-oriented problem-solving on all assigned tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school (high class standing and academic achievement preferred) and three to six years of prior law firm experience preferred.
  • Hands-on healthcare legal experience with regulatory/licensing and privacy.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously on-time and within financial budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, give and receive direct feedback, and continuously improve in-house practice.
  • Strong communication skills, including providing succinct advice to Senior Management.
  • Licensed and in good standing in at least one State Bar; Florida preferred.
  • Proficient with various Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
