Job Title: Peer Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team at The Affiliated Sante Group. As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will work closely with youth and their caregivers to provide crisis intervention and support services in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote youth and caregiver's health, self-direction, and skill development.
  • Provide education and resources to youth and their caregivers, including community resources and support groups.
  • Serve as an advocate for youth and their caregivers.
  • Assist in the wraparound planning process and develop crisis and other youth and family-driven plans.
  • Partner with youth, family/caregivers, and other community agencies to broker positive relationships.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of professional experience.
  • Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS or CPRS-F) or willingness to be certified within one year of employment.
  • Three years in full recovery and five years lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring disorder for yourself or your family.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
