Overview

Skamania Lodge, a leading global hotel management company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships to enhance our brand and asset value.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute yield strategies to maximize revenue from room, banquet, catering, and room rental revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager, Regional and Corporate staff, ownership, and discipline subject matter experts to ensure brand building and asset growth.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, training, and accountability to drive results.
  • Participate in community relations and create a cohesive Hotel Business Plan with a focus on revenue achievement through direct sales, PR, revenue management, and ecommerce strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or Advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hotel/resort sales leadership experience in a similar-sized operation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Salesforce/Delphi, with knowledge of computer accounting programs and budgetary analysis capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales skills, revenue management, recruitment, supervision, training, and motivation of managers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with the public and other team members.
