About the Role

MFS Investment Management is seeking a highly skilled Senior Regional Consultant-Retail to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting MFS Investment products and services through financial intermediaries in the Broker-Dealer, Regional, Independent, and Bank channels within New York City.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sales meetings with financial intermediaries to promote MFS sales and services.
  • Develop and implement business plans to maximize territorial sales.
  • Build strong sales skills and stay up-to-date on industry trends through training and sales meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external rules, policies, and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional service to accounts to drive growth and retention of assets and clients.
  • Identify and prospect new producers to build sales.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with home office sales representatives.
  • Attend conferences as needed and communicate information back to home office personnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of direct field sales or related experience required, five years preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, organizational, and selling skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • In-depth product and industry knowledge.
  • Ability to meet extensive travel requirements.
  • FINRA series 7 and 63 registrations required.
