About the Role

iCapital is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its growing registered and direct fund business. As a key member of the Client Success organization, this individual will report to the Managing Director/Head of Fund Origination and be responsible for leading the onboarding and product lifecycle of various alternative investment vehicles across structures and asset classes prevalent in the market.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team responsible for all new direct and registered fund onboarding projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Collaborate with key clients, asset managers, and wealth managers, as well as their service providers, to communicate processes and requirements, recommend best practices, and lead overall project management to launch their funds on the iCapital platform.
  • Drive prioritization and lead the build-out of procedures within the iCapital ecosystem related to adding new funds, product structures, expanding product distribution channels, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage the team dedicated to the function and support other members of the team working on fund launches.
  • Represent the company as a subject matter expert on the platform and the products supported.
  • Leverage experience to help shape iCapital's service offering across various fund structures.
  • Prepare and present new funds to various decision-making groups.
  • Assist in various ad-hoc fund launch activities.
  • Help drive the rollout of new platform functionality impacting the fund launch and lifecycle management process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of product structuring experience with exposure to fund administration, fund management, or custodial relationships.
  • Experience in alternative investments with a focus on various fund structures is required.
  • People management skills are a plus.
  • Positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter accustomed to project work with tight deadlines.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
