iCapital is seeking a highly skilled Fund Origination Assistant Vice President to support its growing alternative investments feeder fund business. This role will report into a Senior Vice President on the Fund Origination team and focus on new product development, product structuring, manager onboarding, and fund lifecycle management.
Responsibilities- Support projects related to onboarding new funds and working across the organization to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Prepare fund marketing materials with the necessary information, including updates.
- Coordinate with the internal Compliance and Legal teams on review and approvals.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of materials related to new fund approvals and new fund launches.
- Prepare and disseminate project progress notes.
- Input and update fund governance details on a regular basis.
- Assist in various ad hoc fund launch activities.
- Work with key wealth management clients and their service providers, communicating processes and requirements, recommending best practices, and leading overall project management to launch their funds on the iCapital platform.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of product structuring experience with exposure to fund administration, fund management, or custodial relationships.
- Experience in alternative investments with a focus on various fund structures is required.
- Positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter accustomed to project work with tight deadlines.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
