Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurodiagnostic Services Manager to join our team at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical and administrative operations of our neurodiagnostic services, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Manage the accountability and stewardship of human, financial, and physical resources to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ensure staff adhere to defined internal controls and clinical standards of performance, and lead/participate in the selection and hiring of new employees.
  • Conduct timely formal performance appraisals of direct report employees and delegate responsibility and authority appropriately.
  • Collaborate with Practice Administrator in the development of department budgets and maintain department operations within budget.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a 2-year Neurodiagnostic technology training program, accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in related area preferred. Must have prior equivalent experience/training.
  • Registration from the American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET) as a Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG T.)
  • Certification from the American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET) for Long Term Monitoring
  • Current American Heart BLS Certification Required
Working Conditions
