Position Overview

This role is focused on conducting neuro-diagnostic evaluations, specifically EEG studies, in both outpatient and inpatient environments. The incumbent must demonstrate technical proficiency, exceptional patient care abilities, and strong customer service skills, particularly when interacting with critically ill pediatric patients.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostics training program is preferred, although a combination of education and practical experience may be considered.
  • Experience: Prior involvement with a multidisciplinary healthcare team is essential. A minimum of one year of experience as an EEG Technologist is preferred.
  • Mandatory Certifications: AHA BLS Certification, REEGT, High School Diploma
Additional Information
  • Current Government-Issued Photo ID is required.
  • Verification of required certifications through UD is necessary.
  • BLS certification is mandatory for all nursing and ancillary staff.
  • PALS certification is required for all RNs.
  • NRP certification is necessary for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
  • Primary Source Verification must be completed within 30 days of employment commencement.
  • National Certification is preferred for Anesthesia Technicians.
  • National Certification is required for Central Processing Technicians I/II.
  • National Certification and State License are required for Clinical Lab Scientists.
  • CA ASW/SW certification is required for Clinical Social Workers I/II and Medical Social Workers II.
  • Verification of Allied Licensing Report and Unit Description is essential to confirm required certifications/licenses.
  • Annual verification is required.
