Key Responsibilities:- Access and interpret multiple data sources, including client internal data, supplier provided data, budget projections, and market reports.
- Analyze supplier proposals for value to the client, using competitive intelligence, market reports, and client trends.
- Develop functional analytical models of sourcing scenarios under the guidance of Service Line Leads, Subject Matter Experts, and/or Contract Managers.
- Ensure all data and analysis presented meets quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and complies with internal accounting rules.
- Maintain accurate records of team savings impacts via internal database application.
- Provide support to the contract negotiation process by compiling, processing, and comparing contract information.
- Prepare correspondence for distribution to vendors, participate in conference calls or meetings as requested.
- Assist the Director with miscellaneous projects and analyses as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and 2-5 year's experience, or equivalent combination.
- Previous work with contracts helpful but not required.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is detail-oriented.
- Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical form and deal with variables.
- Previous work analyzing large data sets is essential.
- Expert level skills with Microsoft Excel required. Familiarity with MS Access, SQL Server, or any computer programming language is helpful.
- Is highly skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications, including but not limited to intermediate knowledge of the following Microsoft products: Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- General understanding of healthcare industry from a financial and/or contracting standpoint helpful but not required.
- Able to communicate professionally, effectively and courteously, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.
