We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Specialist to join our team at Asplundh. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and conducting safety and technical training programs to regional personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Safety Supervisor to conduct job site safety audits and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate and enforce regional and corporate policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with the Region Manager to develop and implement safety strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure that all training programs are aligned with the company's training process and the Line Clearance Qualification Standard (LCQS).
  • Verify that crew certifications are up-to-date and that the LCQS training is being conducted properly at all levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in safety training and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
