Job Description

The Enforcement Management Analyst III is a key member of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation team, responsible for providing advanced organizational, policy, and statistical analysis to support the Director of Enforcement. This role involves conducting research, evaluating systems and procedures, and preparing complex reports to inform management decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and coordinate research projects and organizational studies to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to organizational issues.
  • Develop and implement plans for organizational change, including training and implementation of new legislation.
  • Advise management on studies, identifying priorities and defining study scope, purpose, objectives, time frames, and resource requirements.
  • Interpret historical, current, and projected data to identify problems, causes, and areas for improvement.
  • Review and evaluate new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret the Enforcement Division's monthly performance measures reports.
  • Participate in the development of measure projections for the Strategic Plan and Legislative Appropriations Request.
  • Evaluate business practices and industry developments and make recommendations for possible agency application.
  • Conduct or oversee statistical and investigatory research, collecting, compiling, and analyzing data.
  • Prepare, coordinate, or oversee the preparation of complex reports for the Director and the Executive Office.
  • Calculate and evaluate statistics related to workloads for the Enforcement Division and assist the Director in establishing targets for measuring success.
  • Assist the Director in the development, monitoring, and evaluation of Enforcement Division policies, procedures, and goals.
  • Assist the Director in overseeing the Enforcement Division's electronic case management system, Legal Files.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organizational analysis, policy research, and statistical analysis, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a government agency or similar environment is highly desirable.
