Compensation: $14.00-$16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the golf course for daily operations, including:
    • Raking sand bunkers.
    • Cutting and trimming greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
    • Watering rough areas as needed.
  • Apply growth enhancers and manage turf health.
  • Utilize hand mowers, power mowers, and other equipment for grass cutting and weed trimming.
  • Plant grass, trees, shrubs, or flowers according to landscaping plans.
  • Apply mulch to designated landscaping areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness around bushes, trees, and flower beds by weeding.
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours as required.
  • Perform general landscape maintenance with handheld tools.
  • Maintain sand bunkers and ensure their quality.
  • Operate small machinery for edging, trimming, and mowing tasks.
  • Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and other vegetative materials.
  • Assist with course setup procedures.
  • Utilize utility vehicles for transporting materials and clearing debris.
  • Engage in general labor and maintenance of golf course equipment.
  • Deliver drinking water throughout the course.
  • Adhere to safe work practices during all tasks.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma preferred; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Regular mobility in both upper and lower body is required, including the ability to reach overhead and work in various positions such as standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods. The role involves lifting, pulling, and pushing materials and equipment, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Employees will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, chemicals, and mechanical hazards, and may work extended hours during peak seasons.
