The estimated hourly range for this position is $38.57 - $63.98, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse IV to join our Critical Care Float Pool team. In this role, you will provide critical care services across various units, including Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and Intermediate Care ICU.

You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, gain experience in emergency department care, and develop skills in neuro-progressive care areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
Requirements
  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree)
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Minimum 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
