Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our nursing team to create personalized care plans.
About the Role:
This is a dynamic role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing physician orders, and providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plansImplement physician orders and administer medications as neededProvide primary and emergency care for patients, including wound care and treatment of acute and chronic conditionsCollaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless care deliveryMaintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatmentRequirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Graduate degree in Nursing, current NYS Registered Nurse licensure, and a minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Additionally, you must hold certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Albany Medical Center offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
