Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Community Manager to oversee all facets of property operations, achieve financial goals, and adhere to Roundhouse policies, laws, and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent supervisory and problem-solving skills, and a passion for community building.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day property operations, including maintenance, leasing, and resident relations.
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each property.
- Work closely with regional manager to understand goals and objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure the property is kept in good condition.
- Handle resident complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage rent collection and ensure all financial obligations are met.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports on property performance.
- Assist in planning and executing resident events and activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident and vendor files.
- Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal Fair Housing laws and relevant city and state laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field.
- Three to five years of previous experience as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager.
- Real estate license or obtain one within 120 days of employment if required by state law.
- Great supervisory and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with property management software preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to property management.
- Customer service oriented and passion for property management.
