Regional Manager

Roundhouse Communities LLC is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Regional Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of our portfolio of assets through strategic oversight, process improvement, and analysis of property efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise property operations to ensure standardized practices and procedures are in place.
  • Participate in the hiring process for key site positions.
  • Promote ongoing training and education of associates.
  • Train, evaluate, and discipline direct reports as needed.
  • Evaluate monthly financial statements and oversee routine reporting to ownership or supervisors.
  • Resolve resident issues that cannot be managed at the site level.
  • Establish a learning culture and maintain a strong connection between community teams and Roundhouse.
  • Develop annual business plans for each site, including marketing goals, staffing levels, rent levels, and performance objectives.
  • Prepare annual operating budgets.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects and renovations, and implement 5-10 year capital plans.
  • Adhere to established policies related to fair housing.
  • Communicate with co-workers, management, residents, vendors, and outside contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of co-workers, management, owners, past and current residents, vendors, and outside contacts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years previous experience in property management with multi-site responsibilities at the Regional Manager level.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time as necessary.
  • Working knowledge of property management software to read and understand site-generated reports.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Organized and efficient individual with ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong people skills, including tact, discretion, and ability to motivate through words.
  • Strong supervisory skills, including ability to make goals and deadlines clear and provide direction when necessary.
  • Ability to think globally while keeping long-term goals in mind.
  • Logical problem-solving abilities and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting practices and procedures with prior work experience in financial analysis.
  • Intermediate skill level on Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
