We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit at TotalMed in Vancouver, Washington. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
Job SummaryTotalMed is proud to offer this travel nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the ICU. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a critical care setting and possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and coordinate discharge planning
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various procedures as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a critical care setting, preferably in an ICU or CCU
- Current RN licensure in Washington state; compact license accepted
- Able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
The estimated salary range for this position is $85-$110 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
