Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team as a Cardiac Telemetry Specialist at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role:
This is a 0.9 FTE, night shift position (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12-hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiac telemetry and be able to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing personalized care plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
• National Provider BLS certification – American Heart Association
• National Provider ACLS certification – American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• At least one year of experience in a Critical Care or Cardiac Telemetry unit
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Salary Range:
$48.32 - $66.65 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
